Biography
Giugliano is a Senior Investigator with the TIMI Study Group, Associate Physician in the Cardiovascular Division at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He hold degrees from Dartmouth College (1985 A.B. Mathematics, Phi Beta Kappa), Harvard Medical School (1989 MD), and Harvard School of Public Health (1997 Science Masters - Epidemiology). He trained in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai (Los Angeles) and Cardiovascular Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston). His areas of research interests include novel antithrombotic and fibrinolytic agents, lipid-lowering therapies, and the assessment of outcomes in patients with ACS.
